Mr Nick Jenkins
Cardiff born and qualified from Cardiff in 1980 after undertaking an Anatomy BSc. Initially trained in Orthopaedics and attained an MCh researching wrist fractures. Was also awarded the Robert Jones Gold Medal and Prize from the British Orthopaedic Association in 1989 for this work, the first time that the Prize had come to the Principality. Subsequently trained at Peterborough and then back in South Wales training in Emergency Medicine until being appointed Consultant at Nevill Hall in 1991. Lead Clinical Director for the Trust's Accident and Emergency Directorate. Holds Certificate of Expert Witness Accreditation (Bond Solon / Cardiff University, 2004). Outside work can be found with Marianne and his daughters, water ski-ing in Greece, in the gym, or trying to control his Boxer dogs.
